In 2016 we launched our brand new 12 week mums & bubs membership as sometimes its just not possible for women with little ones to utilise a full gym membership and make classes during regular hours.
Mums & Bubs Group Classes
- 12 week membership – $27 per week for unlimited access to Mums & Bubs classes (membership can be put on hold for minimum 2 weeks if required)
- Child friendly so no creche fees!
- Variety of training methods used: TRX, kettle bells, battle ropes, tyres, swiss balls, cardio, body weight work outs, tabata – never do the same class twice!
Landete Health started just as we welcomed our first born into the world so post natal care quickly became a real focus of ours and now with two small children of our own post natal health and fitness is something that is very dear to our hearts. We have specialised in post natal health and fitness for the past 8 years with our signature 6 week post natal fitness program and since relocating to a larger gym facility in December 2014 we have been able to expand our services to include weekly mums and bubs fitness classes as well. We have a huge area for prams, bouncers, play mats – whatever your little ones need to stay happy – as well as a safe, gated play area for the more mobile babies and kids to play in ( in full view so they are never out of sight ) No need to worry about the weather in our fully enclosed gym equipped with bathroom facilities and surrounded by numerous lovely cafes for that social coffee after training.
Our classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and designed to help mums improve on their strength, balance, coordination and flexibility after giving birth. We operate within Fitness Australia’s guidelines which suggest waiting until 6 week check up with GP to resume physical exercise or 12 weeks after a C-section. In saying that every women and every pregnancy is different so please get in touch so we can work out what will suit you.
Our goal is to provide Mums on the coast with a welcoming, supportive space where they can come to be active and healthy, learn how to look after themselves post baby and meet other mums and their children. At a recent presentation by Dr John Irvine, he referred to becoming a parent as becoming part of a “tribe”. You do not know each other yet ,but from the moment you become a parent you are part of a tribe of people going through the exact same ups and downs as you.
